About Me the Owner

   Hi, I’m Cirilo—though most people know me as Sersi, the inspiration behind my brand. I’m a 22-year-old North Texas native, born in Dallas and a proud graduate of Lewisville High School. Coffee has always been my passion, from curating unique blends at home to working in the industry. However, my time as an employee showed me the need for better workplace environments, pay transparency, and genuine care for employees.

With six years of restaurant experience, a background in real estate handling residential and commercial leases, and my current studies in Finance at UNT, I’ve built the skills and determination to launch my own business. My goal is not just to create a thriving coffee company but to revolutionize how employees are treated in this industry.

When we open our permanent locations in Lewisville and Denton, TX, on May 1, 2025, transparency and employee well-being will be at the core of everything we do. Baristas will earn $10.50/hour plus tips, managers will earn $15/hour plus bonuses, and everyone will receive perks like provided lunches, non-slip shoes, and uniforms. Tips will be capped at $1-2 per transaction because it’s my responsibility as an employer to pay my team fairly—not rely on customer generosity.

I believe in creating a work environment where employees are respected and supported. This includes standing up for them when faced with rude customers. A happy, respected team means better coffee and better service.
